We celebrate childhood at CVA and endeavor to impact the lives of each child and family with the love of Jesus Christ. Our teachers are committed to meeting the needs of every child through a nurturing environment that is focused on building lifelong skills and promoting excellence.
Inspiring Teachers
Whether they are helping infants form their very first words or helping school-age children master multiplication, our teachers have one thing in common: A desire to inspire children to learn and grow as they discover their God-given talents and abilities.
Each of our qualified staff has met state educational requirements and also completed health and safety training. Our teachers each specialize in a specific age group and build a relationship with that class throughout the entire year.
Small Classes with a Structured Environment
We have specialized programs at CVA for infants and toddlers, preschool, pre-k, kindergarten and school-age children. Each age group has a daily schedule of activities in a small class that promotes both group activities and one-on-one interaction. Essence Marsh – CEO/Owner
Hello! I am Essence Marsh the CEO and owner of Christian Village Academy. My hours are 9:30am to 3:30pm, so please feel free to call or email me at any time.
God plays a major role in my life and my family’s lives, and that is why God is a very important part of Christian Village Academy. I know that Christian Village Academy belongs to God and He has given me the responsibility to watch over it. I take that responsibility very seriously and believe it is reflected in the excellent manner in which our academy operates.
We appreciate that you have chosen our school of excellence for your child’s education. We stand by our Mission Statement and Core Values in all we do.

Regina Long – Program Director
My name is Regina Long and I am the Program Director here at Christian Village Academy. My work hours are 6:30am-3:30pm. I am, however available during business hours if you should need me.
I have worked in childcare for over 20 years in all age groups from infants to high school. I believe God has placed me here at CVA to help utilize my skills with children and my passion for Christ to elevate me and the children here to the next level. I want to personally thank you for choosing Christian Village Academy as your child’s first stop on their educational success journey.
Sharina Alexander – Art teacher
Hello my name is Sharina Alexander, and I’m the event coordinator here at Christian Village Academy. I have a creative gift along with childcare experience and decided to take a leap of faith and pursue a career as an event coordinator. I grew up with my grandmother, who was a home care provider, so I have spent lots of time with children of all ages. I’m also the mother of two boys and married to an amazing husband. I’m excited to be a part of the Christian Village Academy team. I’m looking forward to many exciting days spent with your little ones. When I’m not at CVA, I also enjoy designing nails, but God keeps pulling me back to Christian Village Academy. Secretly, CVA is where my heart is. It’s such an honor to work with this amazing staff. I look forward to many more years with them.
Jamar Alexander – Administrator Director
Hello my name is Jamar Alexander, and I’m
the administrator assistant director
here at Christian Village Academy. I also handle driving the children to and from school. I’ve worked at Christian Village Academy for 3 years.
I’m the father of two boys and married to an amazing wife. I enjoy sports and hanging out with my family. Being at CVA and around so many different children has given me a better understanding of my own boys and how I can be a better parent for them.
Angel Turney – Event Coordinator
Hello I'm Angel Turney-Allen. I have been a part of the CVA family since the very beginning. With a heart dedicated to teaching and training I actually have two roles at cva. I’m the Lead toddler teacher along with being the closing floor manager. You can find me at cva between 9am-6pm. I love this place and enjoy working with the students and staff. Being apart of cva has been an amazing journey and i’m looking forward to so much more. I’m glad to also say I’m the proud parent of two past cva students. I love being a mom and wife. When not in teacher or mom mode. I indulge in the art of candle making. Welcome to the CVA family
